Prawns Coconut Roast

Prawns roast in a coconut masala paste .

Ingredients

  1. Prawns --- 500 gms
  2. Small onions --- 5 to 6 nos sliced
  3. Garlic --- 6 pearls sliced
  4. Green Chillies --- 3 to 4 slit lengthwise
  5. Tomato --- 1 large chopped
  6. Turmeric powder --- ¼ tsp;"
  7. Chilli powder --- 2 Tsp
  8. Grated coconut ---½ cup
  9. Salt --- to taste

Method

  1. De-shell, de-vein, and clean the prawns.
  2. Heat up the prawns and all the ingrediants in Medium flame in a pan with lid closed till all water comes out of prawns. (DO NOT ADD ANY WATER).
  3. Add curry leaves and cook on low flame till all the liquid drains (10-15 minutes).
  4. Optionally, sauté in 2 teaspoons of coconut oil before serving..
