Beef Curry / Roast
Beef roast with Potatoes.

Ingredients
- Beef (Cubed) --- 1000 gms
- Onions --- 2 nos sliced /cubed
- Garlic --- 10 pearls sliced
- Ginger --- 1-2 inches
- Green Chillies --- 3 - 4 chopped
- Tomato --- 1 large chopped
- Turmeric powder --- ¼ tsp;"
- Chilli powder --- 3-4 tsp
- Coriander powder --- 4 tsp
- Garam Masala --- ¾ tsp;"
- Cummins seeds--- 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds --- 1 tsp
- Coconut paste --- 3-4 tbs
- Curry leaves --- 2 stem
- Cilanthro --- 2 nos (chopped)
- Salt --- to taste
Pre-prep (Marinate)
- Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp salt, tsp chilli powder, 1 tbs yogurt, and a few curry leaves to the beef and mix thoroughly.
- Keep this aside for atleast half an hour.
Method
- Heat up a pan and add 2 tbs oil (coconut oil prefd).
- Add fennel and cummin and fry for a few seconds and then add the chopped green chillies and the curry leaves.
- Add chopped onions and a pinch of salt and saute till it becomes brown.
- Add ½ tsp turmeric, 3 tsp chilli powder, 4 tsp coriander powder, and ½ tsp pepper powder and saute for a minute.
- Add some water (½ cup) and saute till it becomes a semi thick paste.
- Add the chopped tomato, cover the lid and cook till the tomato pieces becomes soft. (4-6 minutes).
- Add the marinated beef and mix thoroughly and cook for 20 minutes in medium heat with the lid on.(Stirr occationally)
- Continue cooking for another 5 minutes in low heat with the lid on.
- Add potatoes along with a little water and some salt if needed contine on low heat and with the lid on till the beef and potatoes are almost well cooked (10-12 minutes).
- Add 3 tbs coconut paste, ½ tsp garam masala and cook for 1 more minute. Add more water if more gravy is needed.
- Add ½ tbs Coconut oil and mix well. Garnish with Coriander leaves.
