Potato Subji
Great for Chapathis / Masala dosa .

Ingredients
- Potatoes --- 4 nos
- Green Chillies --- 11 nos*)
- Onion --- 1 Medium sized
- Garlic --- 4 cloves
- Turmeric powder --- ¼ tsp
- Salt --- to taste 1½ tbsp
Method
- Heat up 3 tbls oil in the pressure cooker. Add mustard and 1 tsp lentil to splutter.
- Cut the potatoes into small cube pieces and place it in the pressure cooker
- Add the sliced onion, green chillies, garlic, turmeric powder and salt.
- Add water just enough to cover and pressure cook for 5 mins. ( Make sure that it is not over cooked.)
- Open the pressure cooker and smash the potatoes leaving a few semi-smashed.
- Add salt if needed
- Garnish with chopped cilanthro
Notes
- This is very good to make Masala Dosa. It can go with Chapathis, Rotis or Pooris as well.
- * Vary the number of green chillies to control the spice level.
